XOS Technologies expands sports content management service

XOS Technologies, the Florida-based provider of sports technology for college and professional teams, has expanded its integrated audio-video solutions for storing, accessing and displaying media content in sports venues and elsewhere.

In January, XOS launched the first online video syndication network focused exclusively on high school and college sports. The platform provided a new way for marketers to target and capture this sports audience.

Using XOS’ “production solutions,” the company can help clients repurpose sports content and generate revenue outside the sports stadiums and arenas through multiple distribution channels, including Web sites. And with its recent acquisition of Collegiate Images and relationships with major manufacturers and video board companies, XOS said it can help teams start implementing these new technologies. To date, XOS has completed more than 180 audio/visual and brand experience installations for sports teams.

“Let’s say a player has just broken his school’s single-game scoring record. Our clients now have the opportunity to quickly and easily call up the highlights from the last time that record was broken, as well as highlights from this player’s career,” said XOS Technologies’ Bryan Bedford. “The possibilities are endless. Imagine a production studio that runs like a Google search and you’ll start to understand the power of XOS’ production solutions.”

XOS serves more than 480 clients representing more than 900 teams in the NFL, AFL, CFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, NCAA, NAIA and NASCAR. The company specializes in coaching solutions, facilities design and integration and fan interaction via the XOS Network and XOS Total Ticketing.
