Fox Television Station Group has purchased 25 fully configured Vizrt Curious World Maps animated mapping system. Eight O&Os updated their systems to include premium street data, image processing capabilities and high-resolution aerial imagery.
The Curious World Map System includes detailed street data, enhanced topography data, image processing, global satellite imagery, enabling the 25 Fox stations will produce maps of local, national and international news events
Vizrt graphics are powered by the Viz Engine, a single core renderer. The Bergen, Norway-based company's technologies include customized interfaces for designers, operators, journalists and engineers.
