Vislink shareholders have agreed to acquire Link Research, a U.K. provider of wireless camera technology.
Link Research already provides a much of the encoding and modulation technology for Vislink--which focuses on the microwave radio, digital wireless camera and transportable satellite transmission markets.
Ian Scott-Gall called the move a strategic acquisition.
"We have gained Link's market leader brand of wireless camera systems," Gall said, adding that the research and development capability that Link Research brings will strengthen the group.
BBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, among others are just some of the customers of Link Research.
