TNT goes broadband with DramaVision
By TVTechnology published
TNT, the Turner Broadcasting-owned cable network, is expanding its program distribution on broadband through a new ad-supported, on-demand service called DramaVision.
Set for an Aug. 15 launch, DramaVision will feature original movies, series, true crime stories and live events such as the Screen Actors Guild Awards and Black Movie Awards. Among the first series to air will be the network's original series, "Into the West."
TNT’s broadband initiative follows similar moves to broadband distribution by USA, MTV, ESPN and NBC Universal.
