Telecast Brings on McAlpine as Global Sales Boss

Bob McAlpine has joined Telecast Fiber Systems as vice president of sales, the company announced.

Bob McAlpine McAlpine brings more than three decades of sales management experience.

He most recently was vice president of global sales and business development for MultiDyne Video and Fiber Optic Systems. Before that, he was vice president of business development at QuStream, a promotion he received when that company acquired PESA in 2005. Prior to that, McAlpine was senior vice president of sales and marketing for PESA, where he had served for 17 years in numerous sales management roles.

Before joining PESA, McAlpine was first engineer and then operations manager for the Metropolitan Transmission Company, a division of 3M. He also served as an electronic technician in the Medical Media Production Services unit of the U.S. Veterans' Administration, and began his career as an airborne radar specialist for the U.S. Air Force.

McAlpine will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of Telecast Fiber Systems' global sales organization, including direct sales and channel operations.
