Shop At Home buys Ikegami cameras

Ikegami's HL-60W digital cameras can operate in dual aspect ratios.
The Shop At Home Network recently upgraded its on-screen image appearance with the addition of eight Ikegami HL-60W digital cameras to its production department in Nashville, TN. The cameras can operate in dual aspect ratios, enabling producers to choose between shooting in the standard 4:3 screen dimension or the widescreen 16:9 picture size. For now, most things are shot in 4:3.
Jaymee Sharp, direction of engineering for Shop at Home, said the low-light capabilities and flexibility of the HL-60W helps her sell lamps to TV viewers.
Shop At Home is also a long-time user of Ikegami’s professional broadcast monitors for production.
