The Senate Commerce Science, Transportation Committee unanimously approved the nominations of two members to the board of directors for the Corp. for Public Broadcasting.
David Pryor, the former three-term senator and governor of Arkansas, was approved for a term on the board that expires in 2008.
Chris Boskin, a magazine publisher and a member of the board of KQED in San Francisco, was also approved for a seat on the CPB board.
