Adam Schadle was recently promoted to president of Optibase. Schadle--former vice president of sales--will oversee U.S.-based activities of the digital video encoding and streaming technology provider. Previously, he managed worldwide sales in the Optibase video technology business unit.
"Adam is truly an expert in video technologies and possesses a deep understanding of digital communications and systems infrastructure, formats and standards," said Tom Wyler, CEO of Optibase.
Schadle served as vice president sales and marketing of Viewgraphics during its 2000 acquisition by Optibase. As vice president, he managed the digital cable, broadcast and postproduction technologies. Schadle previously worked in a management position at Sony.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications and Marketing from San Jose University.
