NBC News Channel, the peacock network's 24 hour news service, has completed its conversion to BitCentral's MediaPipe Content Management and Distribution system.
The streamlining software integrates broadcasters, satellite-over-IP and MPEG file technologies to lower operating costs and increase the productivity of news producers through a desktop application. It is designed to eliminate re-feeds, automate or streamline certain processes, eliminate videotape storage and provide better access to archived content.
