Moscow’s Valeriya/SVIP Studio installs Euphonix

Russian music superstar Valeriya has installed a Euphonix, S5 Fusion in her Valeriya/SVIP Studio for music, TV and film post production. It’s the first Euphonix S5 Fusion to be installed in Russia.

Located in a new building in Moscow, Valeriya/SVIP Studio provides a full array of audio services ranging from music mixing and recording to ADR, TV and film audio post production. The facility installed a 184-channel S5 Fusion with EuCon control of Pyramix and Pro Tools DAWs in their 5.1 mixing control room, which was designed by Acoustic Design Group’s John Flynn and Sam Toyoshima.

The S5 Fusion is a complete professional mixing package that offers a combination of Euphonix’s new processing DSP SuperCore engine with EuCon Hybrid, a technology that allows the console surface to control its own DSP channels as well as channels from multiple external DAWs simultaneously. The system is designed to handle HD surround audio post and music applications. Specifically configured for motion picture and television mixing, the S5 Fusion digital audio system is designed for fast access to film-specific mix controls. New SP663 DSP cards increase the channel count to over 100 channels at 48kHz, and the system can also be run at 96kHz with 50 percent fewer channels.

Valeriya, often referred to as Russia’s Madonna, has sold over 100 million records, and her concert tours regularly sell out stadiums and arenas.
