The ABC O&O in L.A. has taken HD to the air when AIR7 HD took off on Monday with an HD ENG helicopter from Helinet Aviation services.
This is the second HD ENG helicopter in the nation, after KUSA Denver flew theirs almost a year ago.
According to station sources, this is the first step in KABC's transition to HD newsgathering.
