Digital Transaction Group completed the installation of its Xe Automation software at KTTC in Rochester, MN this month. The Xe system automates three on-air channels for the Quincy station.
Brendan Ford, KTTC’'s Production Manager overseeing the project, was impressed the installation went so well. According to Ford, "When we cutover to the Xe system the viewers didn't notice any change. To me that's impressive. The key to the whole process is not to disrupt the viewers."
The installation and training was completed in less than five days. Ford also noted the outstanding support from DTG's experienced support team. DTG's ability to remotely access the system provided the fine tuning and support needed after the on-site installation.
DTG's Xe software uses non-proprietary off-the-shelf hardware and standard IT networking to streamline system commissioning.
