Internet HDTV Platform Firm Nets $3.2 Million

MALVERN, PA.: AnySource Media has secured $3.2 million from several investors. The company makes an online HDTV platform. The funding round came from NextStage Capital, Murex Investments and individual investors from the cable television and video-on-demand industries, the company said.

AnySource created the Internet Video Navigator platform that brings Web content to HDTV sets without the need for hardware or “complicated” wiring, the company said.

AnySource plans to use the funds to bring IVN to commercialization for multiple HDTV manufacturers, for product rolls as early as the second half of 2009.
