I-Movix spotlights new version of ultra slow-motion SprintCam Live

At NAB (booth SU7823A)Belgium-based I-Movix will unveil the latest version of its ultra slow-motion SprintCam Live camera system. Version 2.1 allows users to capture from 500 to 10,000 frames per second with instant replay and adds a number of new features based on feedback from its use during the 2008 Summer Olympic games in Beijing, China.

SprintCam Live V2.1 offers new algorithms for improved image quality, light sensitivity, user-friendly remote controls that enable fine-tuned settings, and a slow-motion remote unit with a new cueing system that allows for quick and easy selection of the sequence to replay.

The system can be operated out of the box, in conjunction with an EVS LSM server for sequence storage, or with any SDI solid-state memory recorder.

I-Movix's product range now includes the new SprintCam V3 HD and SprintCam Basic solutions for a range of slow-motion applications, as well as the SprintCam Live V2.1 is available through I-Movix’s network of distributors.
