On display will be the NetVX. The NetVX allows video, audio and data to be transported over ATM or IP networks - including E-3 and DS-3 microwave networks. It supports all standard telecommunications protocols and can fit in any part of a network. It is available with MPEG-2 encoding and decoding and transport stream demultiplexing and remultiplexing modules. Two sizes of systems are available: the five-rack unit system that can accommodate up to 17 software modules, and the 1RU starter system that can handle three modules.
The Harris Resource Suite, an ingest-to-air workflow automation system, will also be unveiled at the show. The HRS brings together everything a broadcaster needs to automate labour-intensive processes, eliminate duplication of efforts, integrate asset management and archive systems, and share media seamlessly throughout the enterprise.
Other highlights will include a broad range of DVB-T transmission equipment, incorporating the latest model in the SPOT family-SPOT-T, a low-power DVB-T transmitter, and a new second-generation DVB-T modulator/exciter, the V-SFN2.
