GlobeCast Appoints Mary Frost CEO for Americas

Paris-based GlobeCast, a global provider of broadcast distribution and content management services has appointed Mary Frost CEO of its U.S. unit GlobeCast America. Frost oversees GlobeCast's strategy and operations in North and Latin America, based between the company's sales and marketing offices in Washington D.C. and New York.

Frost joined GlobeCast in 2003 as senior vice president of sales and was later named chief commercial officer. Her career in the industry spans more than 25-years and includes key positions at Price Waterhouse Coopers; Disney and ABC in New York; and ICO Global Communications in America; as well as CEO and president of two interactive and digital asset management ventures.

In 2002, Frost received the North American Broadcasters Association's International Achievement Award honoring individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievement and commitment to the goals of the North American broadcasting community. She is past president of the NABA, an active member of the International Council, and National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences board.

GlobeCast is a subsidiary of France Telecom with a global presence that includes 15 teleports and technical operations centers throughout Europe, America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australia.
