Global Television extends Chyron HyperX portfolio

Global Television, a service provider to the Australian television industry, has added two HyperX HD/SD switchable graphics systems to its Chyron portfolio.

With a total of three HyperX systems, featuring up to two software-switchable HD/SD channels, Global Television has streamlined its production process by enabling graphics creation offline on a PC for playout using the HyperX. The two newest systems, which are based in the company’s Sydney and Melbourne studios, are being used to provide graphics for “Australian Idol,” “Rove” and other outside broadcast programs.

Chyron’s Asian partner, Magna Systems & Engineering, was responsible for the sale.
