By TVTechnology published
Professional film and video production company Concept AV, located in Berlin, has purchased a Fairlight HD DREAM Factory system. Concept AV has used Fairlight systems since 1998 for a wide variety of TV sound design services.
The HD DREAM Factory consists of a compact two-bay Constellation-XT large-format mixing console and Fairlight’s Pyxis HD nonlinear video system. The system is instantly switchable for both HD and SD production and supports uncompressed HD capture and playback for screening, dubbing and telecine transfer applications. To provide enhanced workflow capabilities, the package also includes MediaLink networking server software with two DREAM client licenses, Fairlight’s Virtual Studio Runner file trafficking system and the AV Transfer file transfer utility. Concept AV has integrated the HD DREAM Factory system into its Avid video networking environment.
Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Fairlight designs and manufactures digital audio recording, editing and mixing systems for SD and HD audio post, broadcast and music production applications.
