Topic areas covered will include storage, archiving and content management, file-based workflows, automation, HD acquisition, production and post, 3D, distribution for multiple platforms, surround monitoring, and more.
Scheduled panelists include a range of experts across the industry, including executives from ESPN, Harris, Grass Valley, Dolby, Viewcast, Utah Scientific, Front Porch Digital, Linear Acoustic, TV Magic and Alteran, as well as noted industry consultants including TV Technology columnists Randy Hoffner and Doug Lung. The all-day conference, Wednesday, Sept. 23, will take place in the Pasadena Convention Center.
IEEE to Host Las Vegas Symposium on Mobile Video
The IEEE Broadcast Technology Society is hosting an International Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems , April 6 and 7 at the Las Vegas Hilton. This is a new industry-oriented event initiated by the rapid development of mobile video technology and portable video devices. "Mobile and Handheld Systems for Entertai
