Chyron has announced a new technology partnership agreement with MaxT Systems to integrate MaxT’s Web-based (SaaS) editing services, the MAXedit Web Edition, with Chyron’s AXIS graphics Web services.
MAXedit is a full featured, collaborative Web-based, nonlinear editing solution for video professionals in the broadcast, production, post-production and prosumer markets. Combined with Chyron’s Web-based graphics creation, library, and order management services, MAXedit provides a rapid and flexible workflow environment.
“We have seen graphics creation systems as plug-ins for NLE’s many times, but never have graphics creation and editing been integrated at the management level. The logic of our partnership with MaxT Systems was evident from the outset of our discussions, said Kevin Prince, Chyron’s chief operating officer.
The new solution will be shown at NAB in Chyron’s booth, SL1420, and MaxT System’s booth, SL11206. Commercial deployment is expected in the fourth quarter of this year.
