Christie acquires Vista Control Systems
Christie, a provider of visual solutions for entertainment, has acquired Vista Controls Systems, manufacturers of video processing systems, such as the Vista Spyder. The move creates a comprehensive source for image processing and projection solutions for fixed installations, rental/staging, broadcast and advanced visualization environments.
Christie will combine Vista’s video switchers and real-time windowing and composition products with its projection systems. Vista’s switchers are used extensively for live multiple-destination video and data mixed signal productions.
No disruption to employees, customers or business partners is expected, according to Christie, as the two companies have worked together and shared resources on various installations in the past.
