BroadcastAsia 2007, held 19–22 June, is looking to build on its successful 2006 iteration, which brought some 13,000 people to the Singapore Expo.
This year the exhibitor tally for the event is set to exceed 800 companies from more than 50 countries. Many in the industry find BroadcastAsia serves as a one-stop sourcing ground for broadcasters, production, and post-production companies.
Hot topics this year include IPTV and the delivery of digital broadcast services to mobile devices. Some of the events scheduled for BroadcastAsia 2007 include: A full suite of end-to-end HD production workflow from production to content presentation will be demonstrated in the HD studio, highlighting the differences in quality between analogue, SD, and HD transmissions.
The conference schedule running concurrent to the exhibition will include presentations covering a multitude of technologies, including IPTV, surround sound broadcasting, digital broadcasting, mobile broadcasting for handheld devices, and user-generated content and online community services.
BroadcastAsia 2007 will be held 19–22 June 2007 in Halls 7–9 of the Singapore Expo. Several other tradefairs and conferences for related industries are running concurrently with BroadcastAsia, including CommunicAsia, Interactive DME, and CG Overdrive 07.
