Broadcast Veteran Tom Mann Dies

Broacast industry consultant Tom Mann, 54, died Dec. 18 at his home in California.
Mann founded Weyercliff Century, a consulting and engineering firm in Cathedral City, Calif. He oversaw the completion of a large-scale station rebuild for CBS affiliate KPSP in Florida as well as projects for Southern Illinois University and San Bernardino Community College District's PBS station KVCR.
Among other positions, Mann was VP of engineering and new technology for USA broadcasting, VP of engineering and new technology for Argyle Television and Director of Engineering for Walt Disney Television.
