HDNet has announced its new fall schedule featuring at least one new offering every night of the week. Monday Night is being billed as "Family Night," featuring the newly acquired series "Summerland" and season four of "Smallville." Also, the HDNet show "Higher Definition," an interview program featuring Hollywood types, returns on Mondays.

On Tuesdays, "HDNet World Report" expands to one hour with weekly offerings of news and documentary productions presented in 1080i. A new series dubbed "Debate," produced with USA Today Live, will match up newsmakers and celebrities representing opposite sides of controversial topics. Also, on Tuesdays, "Face 2 Face with Roy Firestone" returns with new interviews spotlighting sports and entertainment celebrities.

HDNet also has acquired two more series that enjoyed brief broadcast network runs--"Blind Justice" and "Boomtown"--along with a new program, "The Agency," for Wednesday prime time.

Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the hockey season now underway, HDNet will feature NHL games as part of its new 52-game agreement with the league. Fridays are dubbed "Guys Night In" with new episodes of "Get Out!" and "Art Mann Presents..." The first program takes male viewers to exotic locales around the world, while Art Mann continues to cover offbeat events and odd places.

Sunday night will provide two new HDNet original series: "Sound Off with Matt Pinfield"; and "Gilley's--Behind the Bull."
