Andy Brown heads up Studer Soundcraft console business

Harman has promoted Andy Brown to Head of Digital Console Strategy for Soundcraft Studer. He will remain Product Manager for the Vi Series alongside his new responsibilities.

Commenting on his new role, Brown said: "The advent of digital audio processing has provided us with so many new opportunities and we have extremely aggressive plans to deliver new models and extend our platforms. My role will be to pull together the customers' requirements and the expertise and technologies from all parts of our business to provide more winning products for both our brands."

Brown has over twenty years' experience gained from a range of roles at Soundcraft and was responsible for delivering the company's MH range (MH2, 3, 4), the SM, Ghost, K-Series, the Series 4 and Series 5 live sound consoles. He has also been responsible for spearheading the development of the company's large-format digital platform (the Soundcraft Vi Series) with the engineering team based in Studer's HQ in Switzerland and in Potters Bar, UK.
