AKG wins TEC Award
By TVTechnology published
The K 271 studio headphones are for onstage and studio use. The circumaural earphones provide maximum attenuation of high ambient noise. The automute feature mutes headphones automatically when taken off.
AKG was honored with a Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Award for its K 271 studio headphones.
The TEC Award was accepted by Dr. Richard Barnert of the AKG headphone team in Vienna and Mike Torlone, market development manager of studio products and headphones, from AKG Nashville.
Two other AKG products were also nominated: the fully modular conferencing system CS2, and the WMS 40 Diversity Wireless Microphone System together with the matchless MicroTools.
The award was presented Oct. 11 during a ceremony at the New York Marriott Marquis.
