Several new public broadcasters have purchased AgileVision systems to upgrade their digital plants.
Public TV stations KTWU (Topeka, Kan.) and WCNY (Syracuse, N.Y.), have recently purchased AgileVision's platform to transition to DTV. Other recent public broadcast customers include South Dakota Public Broadcasting, WLVT (Lehigh Valley, Pa.), Idaho Public Broadcasting and Maine Public Broadcasting.
AgileVision's system allows for seamless HD and SD splicing, MPEG-2 encoding and datacast multiplexing in a compressed bitstream.
