ABC is deploying a PSIP system from Triveni Digital of Princeton, N.J., according to the company, a subsidiary of electronics giant LG. ABC will use Triveni’s GuideBuilder to do program and system information protocol--PSIP--for its hi-def feed. The platform will allow the network to make last-minute changes to program schedules and ratings and to do overrides for emergency alerts in the HD feed.
