NAB appoints Karpowicz to NAB Television Board

NAB Television Board Chairman Alan Frank has appointed Meredith Broadcasting Group President Paul Karpowicz to the NAB Television Board. Karpowicz fills a vacancy created by the resignation of Benjamin Tucker.

Karpowicz, a 30-year broadcasting veteran, has prior experience on the NAB Board. He served on the NAB Television Board from 1998 to 2002 and was Television Board Chairman in 2001.

Prior to Meredith Broadcasting, Karpowicz spent more than 20 years at LIN TV. During his tenure at LIN, he presided over significant growth in its broadcasting business.

Karpowicz is a 1975 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
