CBS46 in Atlanta has introduced CBS46ToGo.com, a new way for viewers to download information from the station's Web site to their mobile devices.

According to the Meredith Broadcasting Group division, CBS46 will be first in the Atlanta market to offer news on the go to mobile devices. The new service offers the latest news, weather, sports, financial information and movie listings.

CBS46ToGo was designed for fast downloads. Large graphics, pop-ups and audio were excluded from the package. Cell phones and PDAs can use wireless application protocol (WAP) to access the service.
