2007 International CES issues call for conference speakers

The International Consumer Electronics Show has issued its "call for speaker" applications for the 2007 International CES show, which will run Jan. 8-11, 2007, in Las Vegas.

More than 175 sessions are planned about the newest trends, strategies and profit opportunities emerging in consumer technology. More than 140,000 attendees, including financial analysts, venture capitalists, developers, consumer technology manufacturers, corporate buyers and retailers, from 130 countries attend the International CES. Industry experts share real-world advice and knowledge throughout the CES conference program.

Suggested topics for the 2007 International CES conference program include:

· HDTV;

· audio and home theater;

· satellite technology;

· copy protection;

· home IT networking;

· data casting;

· set-top boxes;

· interactive TV;

· smart cards;

· digital radio;

· digital audio and video;

· digital video recording;

· wireless home;

· multichannel audio; and

· PC-based digital audio.

Speaker proposals are due by Aug.4, 2006. Proposals can be submitted online at www.cesweb.org/attendees/conferences/rd_speaker_form.asp.

Accepted presenters will be notified at the end of September.
