HD equipment distributor Band Pro will deliver the first set of Carl Zeiss' new DigiPrime lenses at IBC 2002.
DigiPrimes are Zeiss' first set of high-precision lenses developed for hi-def cinematography. The initial set of DigiPrimes includes 5mm (T1.9), 7mm (T1.6), 10mm (T1.6), 14mm (T1.6), 20mm (T1.6), and 40mm (T1.6) sizes.
On the first day of IBC (Sept. 13), Band Pro will deliver a set of production lenses to Chrosziel Film & Video of Munich, Germany, for use in its test equipment and accessories business. Additional deliveries will begin in October.
