Vinten to Show New Heads, Prompting Gear

Vinten, part of The Vitec Group, will exhibit the Vector 750 and Vector 950 Active pan and tilt heads along with the Vision iScript prompting solution at NAB.

The new Vector 750 pan and tilt head incorporates the features of the Vector 700 Standard and “H” version heads with a new range span of 80mm to 250mm. To support camera accessories like a talent monitor and spotlights, the Vector 750 can handle a maximum payload of 165.3 pounds atop its spring-free and cam-free counterbalance mechanism. Stainless steel internal components offer durability while the slide plate positioner offers a new ergonomic design.

Vinten’s Vector 950 Active pan/tilt head system now supports most Canon HD long lenses with an Optical Shift Image Stabilizer (“Shift-IS”) to eliminate any lag after fast pan or tilt shots. Special encoders built into the Vector 950 Active pan/tilt head system combine with a customized Active serial controller box to link the two technologies. The encoders in the Vector 950 Active also support Canon AF lenses for the HDTV

Vinten’s Vision iScript prompting solution is a compact and portable plug and play system in a rolling case that supports multiple daily setups and takedowns. This fluid head and teleprompter combination works with the Vision Ped Plus pedestal and Pozi-loc tripod. The Vision iScript also supports the GoPrompt 12 system from Autoscript that uses a 900 MHz wireless scroll control.

Vinten will be at Booth C6412.
