Telex is showing the Radiocom BTR-1 series of UHF Frequency Agile Encrypted Intercoms.
Building on the technology of the Telex SAFE-1000 line of encrypted wideband wireless microphones, the Telex BTR-1 and TR-1 system provides wide band full duplex secure communications. The units also employ Telex's proprietary ClearScan function for frequency selection.
Employing a 32-bit linear feedback shift register for encryption, the units provide secure communications while meeting export controls to allow their use worldwide. Encryption technology is firmware-based allowing future upgrades as new developments are made in encryption algorithms.
