Televisa to upgrade graphics with significant purchase of Pinnacle Systems equipment

published Televisa, the Spanish-speaking world media company, has expanded its graphics infrastructure in preparation for coverage of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games.
The network has acquired two Pinnacle Systems FXDeko II packages, three Deko2200 and one HD Deko500 character generator system. They are being paired with three dual-channel Thunder LT clip servers, a Lightning still server and two dual channel DVEXCEL DVE systems, to expand Televisa's graphics capability during the Olympics.
The newly purchased equipment will be installed at Televisa Chapultepec, the network’s production hub.
