Smart AV is now shipping its new Smart Console, the E72.
The console uses Smart AV's patented "Arc" technology--which uses a physical arc to unify the functions of interrogations and channel selection with a spatially fixed array -- a 72-channel Arc controls up to 216 channels. The E72 is initially available for use with the Apple Logic Pro7, Klotz Digital VADIS System, Merging Technology Pyramix Virtual Studio, Steinberg Nuendo 3 and the Nion from Media Matrix at Peavey mixing engine.
The arc provides instant access to any channel or combination of channels. By touching the arc, 800 previously out of reach controls snap to within reach. The Smart Console reduces the number of knobs on a panel and reduces the number of actions required in order to gain access to out-of-reach controls.
