RF Central to unveil RFX-PHT-II HD-upgradeable 2GHz transmitter

RF Central will introduce the RFX-PHT-II HD-upgradeable portable 2GHz digital transmitter at the NAB Show, April 20-23, in Las Vegas.

Using RF Central’s RFX-CMT-II camera-mounted transmitter, the PHT-II is designed to turn any news car into a live broadcast vehicle and transform any run-and-shoot car into a run-and-transmit vehicle.

Built inside a weather-resistant portable case, the new HD upgradeable, portable high-power digital transmitter is offered with 5W power output standard, but is also available at other output levels, including 7W, upon request. While the PHT-II is well-suited for mobile ENG as well as for temporary transmit applications in stand-alone mode.

Among its accessible formats are 480i, 720p and 1080i. In addition, the unit can be configured to accept either composite or component analog video, HD/SDI digital signals and is also equipped with an ASI input.
