Quantel will be displaying its full generationQ product line at IBC2006 and will launch some new products too. Included is a complete range of tools for broadcasting, color correction, post house and graphics applications.
Newsbox HD will be one of those new products seeing a European launch in the Quantel Stand. This is Quantel's complete high-definition news system "in a box" and it offers full news and sports production capabilities in a price range for every broadcaster. Newsbox HD is designed to be operational within hours of unpacking and is designed to fit right into multistreamed broadcast applications.
Another new product, Pablo HD, will make its debut at the show. This is an entry-level, nonlinear color correction system with all the features available on Quantel's 2K and 4K Pablo systems.
Being featured along with Pablo color correction is another new product, Revolver. Designed expressly for the colorist, Revolver promises to make short work of accurately and intuitively manipulating colors. The system works directly in the image, rather than involving time-consuming keying. Revolver is standard equipment on Pablo color correction systems.
