Neotion and Fastcom announced a CI+/CPCM module combination allowing a content-protected seamless bridge between networked TV sets and PCs at home during IBC2008.
The companies have merged their respective technologies into the CI+/CPCM module platform. The move gives operators and TV set manufacturers a set of standards to enable pay TV on millions of generic connected integrated digital televisions (iDTV). The result is ARPU-intensive, churnless service offerings matching customers’ growing desire to have television “anywhere, anytime.”
