JVC unveils three-in-one digital video recorder with MiniDV, HDD, DVD support

JVC Professional Europe has unveiled the SR-DVM70 three-in-one video recorder that incorporates support for MiniDV, HDV and DVD.

The recorder has a 160GB hard drive that offers high storage capacity for extended recording times. It also enables mass duplication, with high-quality picture and audio resulting from digital-to-digital transfer.

A video output terminal with a BNC connector provides reliable, secure connection to other equipment. DV format signals are recorded directly to the hard disk drive for enhanced digital-to-digital recordings with no quality loss.

The SR-DVM70 has synchronized editing functionality from HDV to DVD to ensure that edit points are recorded seamlessly on the DVD.

The MiniDV deck can also play back DVCAM tapes shot on the small DVCAM cassette.
