A total of 42,815 people visited IBC2005, a record for the annual international industry gathering, according to convention organizers.
The high mark is a 5 percent increase over last year’s attendance figure.
According to Mike Crimp, the IBC’s marketing and business development director, several factors played into the strong attendance, including the conference schedule, free training, film screenings and 1000 exhibits.
