Harmonic shows video and data delivery systems at Cable-Tec Expo

At the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2007 conference this week, Harmonic will showcase its comprehensive line of video solutions that enable cable operators to implement a converged service delivery platform and optimize bandwidth use. These solutions allow operators to efficiently manage bandwidth and generate new revenues.

Featured solutions will include the company’s NSG 9000 universal edgeQAM and DiviCom encoders for on-demand, switched digital video, modular cable modem termination system (M-CMTS) and DOCSIS 3.0 applications.

The company’s HFC access solutions for node segmentation, which will be demonstrated at Cable-Tec, include the PWRBlazer 4x4 segmentable and fiber-deep nodes and the new PWRLink CWDM transmitters and receivers. In addition, Harmonic’s FLXLink cell tower backhaul solution will be on display.
