CloseVU is demonstrating its full suite of mobile content production and server products at NAB2008 this week, including the CloseVU Mobile Portal, LiveZoom, Graphics Grabber and Instant Highlights software.
The CloseVU Mobile Portal provides turnkey “highlight media players” for creating real-time sports portals for multiple mobile platforms including Apple iPhone/Pod, Adobe Flash for Web and Adobe Flash Lite 3 for mobiles; LiveZoom allows users to frame and click on the action or area of interest to target and create close-ups that are optimally sized for mobile viewing; Graphics Grabber enables real-time, fast graphic stripping from broadcast video; and Instant Highlights lets users create game highlights as the action occurs in a near-live environment, with automatic recording.
CloseVU will also demonstrate several made-for-mobile production modules allowing content producers to adapt widescreen video content to the limited screen size and technical constraints of mobile and Web environments.
