ARRI Announces Groundbreaking Video System for IBC
By TVTechnology published
Directors and cinematographers who prefer working with film have a new friend in ARRI.
The motion picture equipment manufacturer recently announced the release of their high-def integrated video system (HD-IVS) which creates superior video assist images from a 35mm film camera.
The process combines a digital sensor, image processor and ARRI’s Ground Glass Cancellation (GGC) technology which removes the aforementioned texture of the same name that has blighted video assists in the past.
The HD-IVS is a big step up from the previous standard definition system. Features include flicker-free mode, automatic or manual gain control and the timesaving ability to capture images straight onto a USB memory stick.
ARRI will be located at booth 11.F21.
