Anton/Bauer has developed a new mount to provide the JVC GY-HD100 ProHD camcorder access to a professional power system that meets the power and ergonomic needs of camera operators.
The new QR-JVC 7/14HDV eliminates the dependence on small consumer batteries that lack the power demanded by professionals, by providing access to Anton/Bauer’s entire range of Gold Mount batteries.
The QR-JVC 7/14HDV supplies the proper regulated operating voltage to the GY-HD100 camera while also offering the ability to use standard 12V video accessories, such as on-camera lighting.
The mount also features a RealTime interface to the camera, which JVC employs to display the battery’s remaining run time in hours and minutes directly in the camera’s viewfinder.
