Annova Systems to highlight OpenMedia Version 3.6 at IBC2009
By TVTechnology published
Annova Systems will feature its new OpenMedia Version 3.6 newsroom system at IBC2009 in Amsterdam next month.
Improvements give journalists more options to produce and distribute their stories faster. With the new Story Bin feature, OpenMedia v3.6 addresses the problem of unstructured information-gathering for one topic. The Story Bin presents itself to the journalist as a central planning container, which holds all available information required for a story.
Such information can be any type of media, including text, video, audio, images or e-mail attachments. Similar to a database-supported relation management system, Story Bin allows journalists to gather, process and manage topics across editorial departments.
All users can contribute to or use the content in different ways, including in remote locations. Through tracing, the usage of single assets can be tracked throughout the publication process.
