At NAB, AmberFin is showing its technology for multiformat HD/SD ingest; automated quality control; metadata management; MXF interoperability; and VANC and audio handling.
The latest version of its iCR software (Version 4.5) provides native support for Avid DNxHD and Final Cut Pro; MXF support of native Panasonic P2, Sony XDCAM and Avid Op Atom; and simultaneous ingest and transcoding. File-based standard-definition motion-compensated frame rate conversion is now available as a standard feature on all iCR systems
The company, until recently part of Snell & Wilcox, has launched a global OEM partner program, making many individual components of its iCR software available to third-party vendors, helping customers transition successfully to file-based and HD workflows.
AmberFin’s technology enables OEM partners to provide their customers with hassle-free multiformat interoperability, flexible operation and outstanding image quality.
