AJA Video has unveiled its new Xena LS and Xena LH video and audio I/O cards for Windows XP.
Xena LH and LHe supports combined HD/SD workflows. Xena LS supports SD capture and playback. Both products will ship with AJA's deck-control, playback and capture application, Machina and other plug-ins for seamless integration with leading graphics and effects applications.
Xena, LH, LHe and LS cards are designed for deadline-driven and layer-intensive motion graphics workflows. The software interface for deck-control, playback and recording via AJA Machina, along with custom-coded plug-ins linking video input and output to the interfaces of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Combustion and Eyeon Fusion provide significant workflow efficiencies, according to AJA. QuickTime and AVI file formats are supported as well as in file-per-frame formats such as DPX, Cineon, .tif, .tga and .bmp.
