At NAB, 1 Beyond will showcase its EzHDSAN, a plug-and-play SAN that provides up to 96 TBs of RAID 6 protected storage, allowing multistream, real-time HD editing for up to 14 simultaneous users.
The 1 Beyond EzHDSAN is available as a completely pre-configured and tested turnkey solution. It is easy to install, using a single standard Ethernet cable to connect each workstation to the SAN.
The system starts with an 8-disk model with 16 TB and can scale up to 24, 48 or 96 TB of raw data. The EzHDSAN also features RAID 6 (or dual RAID 6) protection, allowing for two (or four) disk failures without experiencing any data loss. It also has the ability to define Hot Standby disks to automatically replace any failed disks 24/7 without intervention.
The new shared storage solution for both Mac and PC is available immediately.
