CARLISLE, PA/HACKETTSTOWN, NJ – The Vitec Group, worldwide provider of a wide range of equipment and services to the broadcasting, entertainment and photographic industries, announces the intended establishment of RF Extreme, LLC, a new business unit within the company that comprises leading digital and analog video microwave brands, Nucomm, RF Central and Microwave Service Company (MSC). It is expected that consolidation will be accomplished and the newly reconfigured entity be operational by the first week of April 2009.
By going through the one unit, RF Extreme, broadcasters have access to Nucomm and RF Central brand products, as well as MSC services. “In combining the offerings of Nucomm, RF Central and MSC, we are able to give broadcasters an unprecedented level of service,” says RF Extreme President Stephen Shpock. “With this new unit, we can now save broadcasters a great deal of time, as it eliminates the need for having to work with multiple vendors.”

Shpock adds that the establishment of the RF Extreme business unit comes at a perfect time. “The traditional broadcast model that has existed for some decades has changed,” explains Shpock. “Now there is an even greater need for more efficient workflow, which is what RF Extreme is all about.”
